The Khana Group’s (TKG) Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) practice provides strategies that integrate results measurement and impact evaluation techniques proven through field experience, grounded in local knowledge, and informed by state-of-the-art approaches and tools. Our team has extensive experience identifying appropriate units of analysis, treatment and control groups, baseline equivalence establishment, and attrition prevention and control. At the core of our methodology is a participatory approach to ensure stakeholders are involved throughout the process. Our team is committed to producing high quality data and as such, places a major emphasis on quality assurance and communication throughout the data collection, cleaning and analysis phase.
Rigorous and precise data is critical to make informed program and policy decisions. TKG works to ensure data generated through monitoring and evaluation systems is collected through systematic protocols and recorded, transcribed, and reported accurately. TKG’s focus in this area has included data quality audits (DQAs), Routine Data Quality Assessments (RDQA), and the provision of technical assistance around data quality.
In Nigeria, The Khana Group is currently working as the external evaluator on the UK Department for International Development’s Girl’s Education Challenge (DFID- GEC) funded project, ENGINE – Educating Nigerian Girls in New Enterprises.
