Charlyne M. Brumskine is an attorney with over twelve years of legal experience. Her legal portfolio includes corporate, maritime, family law and civil litigation. She is the founder and Managing Attorney of CMB Consultants, Inc. Ms. Brumskine also serves as legal consultant for the Liberia International Shipping and Corporate Registry (LISCR, LLC) where she leads the Legal and Corporate Department at the LISCR Trust Company in Monrovia, Liberia. She has provided consulting services to a diverse group of clients including the Government of Liberia on a range of legal issues including: implementing Pillar I (Peace, Security and the Rule of Law) of the Government’s National Development Plan, the Agenda for Transformation, as well as implementation of the Government’s Five Year National Action Plan against Trafficking in Persons.
Ms. Brumskine was previously a United States National Policy Expert and provided policy and legal advice to the United States Congress and State governments on matters related to child welfare and child protection. She received her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in New York City. She is licensed to practice law in New York State, Washington D.C. and the Republic of Liberia, where she currently resides.
