VP Research & Evaluation
Originally from Kenya, Rosie is a VP for Research & Evaluation at The Khana Group. She leads client delivery and is responsible for managing research and evaluation projects. She also manages a team of senior researchers and field data collectors across Africa.
Rosie has over 10 years of experience in research and program evaluation. She is a specialist in qualitative research methods and has a passion for assessing whether or not programs are meeting their stated objectives. She previously worked as a World Bank consultant where she served as the lead evaluator for the African Agricultural Markets Program (AAMP), a multi-million regional training program whose goal is to support enhanced access to regional markets, trade, and private sector participation in agriculture. She also worked as a Survey Specialist at Mathematica Policy Research where she gained experience with evaluation designs, survey instruments, interview protocols and sampling methods. Prior to that, she worked as a Research Fellow at Harvard’s Center for International development where she worked on research related to diversification and growth strategies for Uganda, Kenya and Nigeria. Rosie’s extensive research and evaluation experience spans several sectors including: education, health, gender, trade and agriculture.
She received her B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College and her M.A. in Public Policy from Harvard University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Education with a specialization in Research and Evaluation at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
